The last day of 2012 has been a special one for us: We started with an orange-fire sunrise over the Cascade Mountains and a backdrop of a majestic, white-robed Mt. Rainier, and we finished with a pink and silver sunset over the Olympic Mountains.

In between we've had a lot of special time with the Beans, including a "midnight" countdown with them at 6:34 PM, complete with cranberry sparkly juice and toasts to the new year.

And now the Beans are in Dreamy Beanland and the parents are headed there soon, too, now that it's 8:12 PM. Glad we had a midnight already.
